I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon. After finishing my Bachelors in Computer Science, I chose to continue working in what I was passionate about: programming and designing user interfaces. This led me to HP Labs, where I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Shekhar Borgaonkar in the area of handwriting input method interfaces for pen-based devices. My experience here piqued my interest in the field of HCI and hence pursued further studies in this area to learn and tackle user interface and interaction design problems.

Upon graduation in December 2007, I want to put my user-centered design and software engineering skills to design and build products that empower people with technology; products that are innovative, effective and usable.
